Viking Window Films was recently awarded the contract to supply and install our products to the Waddington Building Skylight Structure. This courtyard skylight is located at the Victoria Library, Main Branch on Broughton Street, suspended over 6 stories to the open air courtyard below and made up with hundreds of pieces of glass. In an earthquake, the glass could break free and crash to the ground.
Our products will be able to contain the fractured glass and keep the glass panels bonded to the framing system, preventing the possible failure of the skylight system during an earthquake. This project will take 21 days to complete.
