Every Elite window film is backed by a transferrable, limited lifetime warranty. The film is guaranteed as long as you own your home, and may be transferred once to subsequent homeowners. Elite films are offered with a standard 5-year limited glass breakage warranty, and a 3-year seal failure guarantee.
Manufacturers of residential windows void their warranties for glass breakage and seal failure if solar control window films are applied. A homeowner who has an Elite window film applied need not worry if he or she purchases our optional Elite Emerald Warranty. For the nominal cost of $0.25 (U.S.) per square foot, this optional warranty covers the homeowner against glass breakage due to thermal stress for as long as they own their home, and against seal failure until the expiration of the window manufacturer's warranty. FTI will arrange for the replacement of the window glass up to a maximum of $500.00 (U.S.) per window. This optional warranty is not transferrable.
